CA Foundation & Inter Exam Dates September 2026 - Official ICAI Date Sheet
ICAI officially announced the CA Intermediate and Foundation September 2026 exam dates on 2nd May 2026. Applications and admit-card downloads have closed, and the exams concluded on 12th September 2026 (held 1-12 September). Results are awaited — expected late October to November 2026.

CA Inter: Group I on 1st, 3rd & 6th Sep, Group II on 8th, 10th & 12th Sep. Foundation: 2nd, 5th, 7th & 9th Sep.
Exam applications are closed
The application window closed on 22nd July 2026 (with late fee) and the correction window closed on 25th July 2026. ICAI re-opened forms from 1-5 August 2026 for CA Final November 2026 only — Foundation and Intermediate are not covered. See the CA Final re-opening →
CA Inter: surrender-of-exemption cut-off was 5th August 2026 (closed)
ICAI opened an online facility to surrender an exemption (including permanent exemption) for the CA Intermediate September 2026 exam; the cut-off was 5th August 2026 and has now passed. (Announced 30th July 2026, via the SSP dashboard under Exam Functions.)
CA Final is in November 2026, not September
CA Final exams are held only in May & November. Next CA Final: 2-13 November 2026.
